Malta

Mike Manieri Charlie Haden, Malta Jazz 2001

Malta-a pure guaranteed mystery including medieval dungeons and Calypso's Caves. It's a small place with huge and rich heritage. The narrow streets of Malta are sprinkled with the oldest structures of human existence. There are a lot of renaissance cathedrals as well as baroque palaces. Being in Malta in it is a lot of fun i.e (Leon Russell Tickets, Jerry Lee Lewis Tickets, Sonny Landreth Tickets) Jazz Stars . But still one needs to explore the place when you visit it. You'll not be disappointed there are a lot of places to keep you excited and entertained. I guess Gozo can be a good start for any visitor to start exploring Malta. It has flavor of its own which is really distinct, I found countryside even prettier than the city. If you are nature-lover like me you are bound to mesmerize by the sheer charmed and purity of countryside. Countryside is not frequently visited by travelers so you can enjoy the bliss of communicating with nature in solitude. The island share a good share of medieval architecture and prehistoric temples so you can enjoy architecture in midst of nature. Valletta the capital of Malta is also a must see place actually it is a splendid place to see, Sir Walter Scoot on his visit to Mediterranean called Valletta "the city build by the gentlemen" and no doubt it is a well designed and preserved till now. Visitors can visit the city within few hours without exhausting themselves. Valletta is roughly shaped triangle. It is situated on the top of peninsula at Malta's northeast coast. The easiest thing about this place is that you can simply walk from the gate and walk to the center of town crossing a chain of squares bordered by palaces and cathedrals. The beautiful sandy beach with clear shimmering turquoise water known as Blue Lagoon is the biggest attraction in Comino. Blue lagoon is a sheltered, picturesque bay having white-sand sea bed. It is supposed that in old times Comino was once the inhabitation of pirates and smugglers but now this place is home to bikini-clad invaders. It's a small place 2.5Km (1.6mi) by 1.5Km (0.95mi) in size only. That means you can tramp around the whole island in less than 2 or maybe 2 hours. Besides this, this particular list can make your choice easier about beaches. The be4st beaches on Malta are Gnejna Bay; Tuffiena, Golden Bay, Cirkewwa and Paradise Bay, Ramla tal-Bir, Ramla tal-Qortin Bay, Armier Bay, Mellieha Bay, Imgiebah bay and St. George's Bay. Whereas the best beaches on Gozo are Ramla Bay, Xlendi Bay. And on Comino the best beaches are Santa Maria Bay and also San Niklaw Bay. A spectacular village named after the famous Maltese 17th century architect Tommaso Dingli. It is a fascinating coastal view. It is village of unquestionable beauty 220m-high (720ft-high). In addition to a pictorial beauty Hagar Qim is a known as a highly reverent religious and spiritual place. Hagar Qim was made nearly early 3600 BC; it is one of the oldest known human structures in the world. The large stone was decked along with carved animals, sacrificial alters, idols, and also oracular chambers all accomplished with just than flint and obsidian tools. I think these places will keep you busy for quite a few days. Else than these you can enjoy rich music and yes if you want to see the real Malta you can join the celebration of a village feast, village feasts are celebrated with so much vigor and enthusiasm. And there are small events going on through out the year on this happy island.
